I plan on putting some bacon grease in a jar to use tomorrow morning (eggs taste so much better, but yes I know I can feel my arteries hardening) and was wondering would it be better health wise to store it on the counter top or in the refrigerator.
Thanks!

So I’m bidding on a foreclosure house. It’s been listed since August and I’ve been the only person to actually look at it. The price was listed at 127,900 in October, and then went down to 124,900 the beginning of November. I did a walk through and the carpet through out the house needs replacing and the whole place needs paint inside and the second upstairs bathroom needs a new tub and possibly flooring. The house is a 4 bed, 2.5 bath, two story house in a housing development with other houses well worth 200,000. It’s a great find with need of some basic repairs, it does however not have a refrigerator or a washer and dryer. So I’ll need those as well.
Anyways my point is I put in an offer of 115,000 with the seller to pay closing cost and they countered it with 121,000 no closing costs and a closing date in January. So I countered it will 117,00 and they pay all closing costs and a closing date in February. But they just countered me again with 123,500 with 3,705 towards our closing cost, to close in January, plus they added for us to do an inspection within 7 days. I want to counter again, (since 123,500 is what we got pre-qualified for) I want to say 120,000 with all closing cost paid and a closing date of January, but my husband thinks we can get it for 117,000 and with them paying all closing cost.
Should I risk it? And hope they agree and finally end the countering?
From what I can tell we’re in a buyers market so for us we should have the upper hand, but I need help ASAP!
Oh yeah and it’s only 5 years old!

When I was making coffee this morning, I found the liquid Coffeemate creamer that I just bought over the weekend sitting on the counter. Apparently one of my housemates decided to remove it from the fridge and leave it out. I’m not sure how long it was out, but it is definitely warm. Do you think it’s okay, or should I ask that the person responsible for leaving it out replace it?

I always took a packed brown bag to lunch to school when I was a kid and there were no refrigerators to store it in. The lunch was not refrigerated for quite a few hours and it was always fine. No other kids got sick either. Why does everyone freak out because food has been sitting on the counter for a while?

i’m mixing up a batch of Lush’s Caca Marron henna hair dye and letting it sit overnight so I can use it tomorrow. what is the best place to keep it – in the refrigerator or on the counter? Should I cover the bowl in cling wrap or leave it open? and tomorrow when i’m ready to apply it to my hair, should i bring it back to a boil or just hot enough to tolerate touching? thanks so much!

I bought my best friend items and baked a cake. Unfortunately, I JUST found out that my bff will be in another city tomorrow, and will be back on Wednesday. Will my cake be okay, frosting and all in the fridge till then? Or should I leave it on the counter?

I just recently bought a new Brita water filter and I put it on the counter at room temperature instead of the refrigerator. I want to know if the filtration will be the same as if you were to put it in the refrigerator. Hope my question makes sense…Thanks for your answers in advance.

What is a good, humane method to keep cat from trying to get up on high places? Refrigerators, cabinets, counter tops etc. He like to do these things when we want to sleep. Is he looking for attention?

Licking cold refrigerator doors at grocery store, high activity level, aggressive, poking dad with screwdriver in the eye, short attention span, hangs on people, very strong, no fear when jumping off counter and no one is there to catch him, and acts like a 3 year old emotionally.

If I have home made doughnut batter how long will it last in a freezer or a refrigerator? Also how long will the batter last if left outside on the counter? Is there anything that can be done to increase the shelf life of unrefrigerated, uncooked doughnut batter? What if I flash froze the batter and then left it out, how long would this last?

I made french toast and I had some, but I forgot to put it away, so it was left out on the counter from around 11:00 AM to 10:00 PM, but I put it in the refrigerator for the night. Will it be okay to eat?

I have really limited counter space in my kitchen, yet I have a fairly short refrigerator and I’m a pretty tall person. Is it safe to operate my toaster oven on top of the fridge? Could the heat damage the fridge in any way?
Thanks

It is an absolute wreck! Things are on the counter that don’t belong in the kitchen, there are dishes EVERYWHERE, too many to fit in the dishwasher. My refrigerator needs to be scrubbed (inside and out.) Also I have to have this all done in a matter of hours, along with a few other rooms. It just seems that I don’t have time! Please give me tips on how to actually clean it (not bagging things up and hiding them places.) Any help will be appreciated greatly!

I have white cabinets with black stove and stainless steel dishwasher and I was wondering what color refrigerator I should get? The counter tops are white with black specs in it and I also have to choose what color for the stackable washer and dryer because that will go in the kitchen as there is no where else to put that. The washer and dryer would be right beside the refrigerator so I’m trying to figure out if I should get black for the washer and dryer and refrigerator?? Thanks for any help!

A small rust spot has formed on the back of my refrigerator on the outside. It is on the freezer side about half-way up. It is a Frigidaire counter-top depth refrigerator and was bought new 4 years ago.
To me it does not make sense that there is one spot that seems to have condensation building up on the outside. The rust spot is about the size of a quarter and the condensation is about 2 inches in diameter. I have taken the interior back panel off to see if there is anything obvious that might be the cause but found nothing.
